Description of the Programme:

As part of JCI Trichur Jcrt wing signature project 'കൈത്തോഴി'(KAITHOZHY- which we used to conduct every month), classes taken, at Sevasadhan Girls home for the month of October. Programme Director JC Lakshmi Ajaykumar took classes for the needy students there.. Hats off to her continuous, sincere efforts.

2, POTHICHORU

Description of the Programme:

JCI Trichur Jcrt wing Signature Project- *'POTHICHORU'*, for the month of October (which we used to do every month) conducted at ACTS(Accident Care & Transport Service),Thrissur, on 31-10-2018. We distributed *53 food packets* this time to the needy ones.. Kudos to our *PD of POTHICHORU - Jcrt Anuja Bobby* for proper follow up and all our members who contributed home made food packets as well as cash for the same.Special appreciation and hearty thanks to Kattukkaran Dream home Association members (Jcrt Anuja's neighbours) and MRG SHREYAS Apartment residents(JC Vidhya's neighbours) for joining hands with us.

1.CRAFT WORKSHOP - STITCHING

JCrt wing of JCI Arayankavu conducted a craft class for the members of Samanwaya Residential Association, to make sofa back, cushions etc. JC Sindhu Satheeshkumar lead the session


2.BEAUTY TIPS CLASS

Jcrt wing of JCI Arayankavu, conducted a beauty tips class to the members of Thanal Residents Association, Kanjiramattom. JC Betty Joji lead the session

3.PAPER BAG MAKING

JCRT wing of JCI Arayankavu made paper bags in order to avoid the usage of plaastic bags

4.PAPER BAG SELLING


JCRT wing of JCI Arayankavu sold the paper bags in the shops in and around Arayankavu. Conducted an awareness campaign to avoid plastics and use paper bags to save our mother earth

5.CREATIVITY DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

JCRT Wing of JCI Arayankavu conducted a creativity development wirkshop for the chidren of Thanal residents association

6.DIABETES CHECK UP (SAVE OUR HEALTH) JCI WEEK DAY 1

Jcrt wing of JCI Arayankavu conducted diabetes check up camp. Around 100 people participated in this program

7.  PICKLE MAKING (GAIN FOR LADIES) JCI WEEK DAY 3


Jcrt Wing of JCI Arayankavu made Lemon Pickle in home for selling (fund raining program)

We sold out the home made pickles in St Ignatius S S, Kanjiramattom

9. WINE MAKING CLASS (GAIN FOR LADIES)JCI WEEK DAY 3

Conducted a wine making class for the JCrts. V P Management JC Sunitha Reji took the session.

10. ADUKKALATHOTTAM

Jcrts of JCI Arayankavu started Adukkalathottam in their houses in order to use organic vegetables in their home. Planted brinjal, Tapioca, Chilly, tomatto etc

11. FASHION FRUIT SQUASH MAKING CLASS

Jcrt wing of JCI Arayankavu conducted a fashion fruit squash making class among the members. Our Jcrt chair person Sheeja Rafeeq lead the session.

12.SAY NO TO PLASTIC

Conducted an awareness class on the need to avoid plastics to save earth to the Kudumbasree members. JFD Varghese M Thomas lead the session

13. SCRAP COLLECTION
Jcrt wing of JCI Arayankavu collected scraps from different shops an housed and sold it (FUND RAISING PROGRAM)

14.INTERNET ADDICTION IN CHILDREN

JCRT Wing of JCI Arayankavu conducted a class of cm "Internet Addiction in small children at St.Francis U P School, Amballoor. Our president JFD Varghese M Thomas lead the session

15.SPOT STORY WRITING 

Conducted a Spot story writing competition at St Francis U P School, Amballore. The subject " Flood - The Beginning of a Change" was given on the spot. Prizes were distributed to the winners

16.SPEECH COMPETITION

Conducted a Speech Competition on "Pros and Cons of Mobile Usage " at St Francis U P School, Amballore. Prizes were distributed to the winners

17.ESSAY WRITING

Conducted an Essay writing Competition on "How to Save Our Earth" at St Francis U P School, Amballore and the winners were given prizes.

18. POERTY WRITING COMPETITION

Conducted a Poyetry writing Competition on "my Village" at St Francis U P School, Amballore and the winners were given prizes.

19. DRAWING COMPETITION

Conducted a drwaing Competition on "my Street" at St Francis U P School, Amballore and the winners were given prizes.

20AWARENESS TO PREGNANT LADIES


Visited two hospitals and gave awareness to Pregnant Ladies about their diet, Health etc

21.ALZHEIMERS DAY

JCRT wing of JCI Arayankavu conducted an awareness campaign on the occasion of World Alzheimer's Day in Amballore Panchayath. Visited almost 200 houses and distributed awareness notice to them. Also we had published the notice in our social media groups in order to get maximum reach

22.ROAD & SAFETY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

JCRT Wing of JCI Arayankavu distributed notices about the rules for safe driving on roads among the auto drivers in and around Arayankavu

23.ORPHANAGE VISIT

Jcrt wing of JCI Arayankavu visited AGCM Karunalayam at Mamala, near Piravom, spend time with inmates and handed over the cash collected from scrap collection.

24.KNOW YOUR BODY

JCRT Wing of JCI Arayankavu had produced a video about the importance of maintaining good health after 35 years, Our Jcrt Chairperson Sheeja Rafeekh had an interview with Dr N K Gopinath, MBBS MD. Published the video in the social media groups.

25.FITNESS FOR LADIES

JCRT Wing of JCI Arayankavu celebrated Fitness day, Distributed notices about fitness and posted notices in our social media groups in order to get maximum reach

26.WORLD VEGETARIAN DAY

JCRT Wing of JCI Arayankavu celebrated world vegetatian day, Distributed notices describing the need of using vegetables for our health and posted notices in our social media groups in order to get maximum reach

27.WORLD HEART DAY

JCRT Wing of JCI Arayankavu celebrated World Heart Day, Distributed notices and posted notices in our social media groups in order to get maximum reach

28.SEVANAVARAM

Cleaned the surroundings nearby each members house as a part of the one week sevanavaram program on the occation of Gandhi Jayanthi

29.WORLD RIVER DAY


JCRT Wing of JCI Arayankavu celebrated World River Day, stuck posters about the need of make our reivers clean in the public places, and distributed notices to the public.

Date - 11-9-2018 Time - 11.am Venue - Amala hospital,Thrissur. Description of the Programme: As part of the hair donation drive, we managed to donate wigs for 40 cancer patients of Amala hospital. It was highly appreciated and we are proud to say that we received an AWARD of honor from the hospital for this noble work. Gallery :

3.KAITHANG Date - 4-9-2018 Time - 2.00pm Venue -Sree Narayana Hall ,Nattika Description of the Programme: The JCRT's of JCI Triprayar, were very active during the floods. They extended a helping hand to the needy and worked shoulder to shoulder with the JCI members of the chapter. As part of this flood relief works they managed to give a few needy families, vouchers of Rs. 2000/ to help them buy things they needed. Gallery : 4.AYUR-HEALTH Date - 21-9-2018 Time - 3.00pm Venue -Hotel Dream Land,Thiprayar Description of the Programme: Health is Wealth is a very old saying.  Grandmothers would tell us that if we looked after our health for the first 45 years, then the body would look after us beyond that.Today the trend is "Wellness". Preventing the illness, rather than cure it. Towards this we conducted an awareness class--- "Ayur"-Health. It was well conducted by Dr. Femitha Sherin, who spoke to the gathering about maintaining one's health through ayurveda, and disciplined living. It was well received by the ladies present on that day. Many personal doubts of the ladies were addressed by the doctor. Gallery :

1, JCI TRICHUR JCRTS GET TOGETHER

Description of the Programme:

JCI TRICHUR Jcrts get together at Cafe Shakespeare, Thrissur on 14-9-2018. We spent some quality time together and discussed about ZONECON preparations.

2, JCRT WING STAR OF THE MONTH

JCI TRICHUR Jcrt wing Stars of the months- April, May and June- Jcrt Anuja Abraham , JC Lakshmi Ajaykumar and Jcrt Jain Varghese receiving star pin, for their outstanding performance, from Jcrt Chairperson of JCI Trichur JC Vinitha Sajith, in the family GB conducted at Hotel Pearl Regency,Thrissur on 15-9-2018.

Event 1 :
Jcrts of our LOM visited St.Teressas Highh School and distributed 150
school bags and 1000 note books to flood effected students.

Event 2: As part of "GO GREEN" initiative of our LOM and in line with the "GREEN PROTOCOL"declared
by Govt.of Kerala, Jcrts wing joined hands with the National Service
Scheme unit of St.Peter's Higher Secondary School, Kumbalangi with a
common motive to avoid plastic carry bag for shopping. The Jcrts wing
distributed 1000 jute bags manufactured by our LOM especially to
distribute among LOM members and needy Self help etc..



Beside
the supply of jute bags for the NSS unit, and school students the Jcrts
wing members also distributed jute bags to 30 members of a self help
group near the St.Peter's Higher Secondary School, Kumbalangy. The Jcrts
team and NSS volunteers team visited near by houses and explained the
significance of avoiding the use of plastic and conducted a class on
minimizing the usage of the same.



The Project "Prakrithi" initiated by the Zone President 2018 is also completed with. 

Event 3 :
Jcrts wing also conducted and Orientation Program for Non Jci members
and the objectives and principles of Jaycee movements were well
explained by our President Jc Jayanthy Krishnachandan,who is a National
Trainer.The program benefited to 30 family residing near St.Peter's
Higher Secondary School,Kumbalangi and families of NSS volunteers.
