Event 1 :
Jcrts of our LOM visited St.Teressas Highh School and distributed 150
school bags and 1000 note books to flood effected students.

Event 2: As part of "GO GREEN" initiative of our LOM and in line with the "GREEN PROTOCOL"declared
by Govt.of Kerala, Jcrts wing joined hands with the National Service
Scheme unit of St.Peter's Higher Secondary School, Kumbalangi with a
common motive to avoid plastic carry bag for shopping. The Jcrts wing
distributed 1000 jute bags manufactured by our LOM especially to
distribute among LOM members and needy Self help etc..



Beside
the supply of jute bags for the NSS unit, and school students the Jcrts
wing members also distributed jute bags to 30 members of a self help
group near the St.Peter's Higher Secondary School, Kumbalangy. The Jcrts
team and NSS volunteers team visited near by houses and explained the
significance of avoiding the use of plastic and conducted a class on
minimizing the usage of the same.



The Project "Prakrithi" initiated by the Zone President 2018 is also completed with. 

Event 3 :
Jcrts wing also conducted and Orientation Program for Non Jci members
and the objectives and principles of Jaycee movements were well
explained by our President Jc Jayanthy Krishnachandan,who is a National
Trainer.The program benefited to 30 family residing near St.Peter's
Higher Secondary School,Kumbalangi and families of NSS volunteers.

Event 1 - Our Jcrts participated various competitions in "JWALA" and won 1st prize in salad making & second prize in flower arrangement.

Event 2 - Flood Relief Activities our Jcrts actively involved in flood relief activities and they provided shelter to few affected families. We purchased groceries, sanitary napkins,other accessories,medicines,emergency lamps,dress materials & inner wear for gents, ladies and kids.We visited various relief camps. We have distributed these things to Thykoodam church,Champakkara church, St.Teresa's camp,St.Rita's camp ponnurunni,Cherthala camp,Ponnurunni temple camp,Vaikom camp,Edavanakad camp, Paravur camp,Nayarambalam camp,Mamangalam parish hall camp,BMC Thrikakkara,Nettor camp,Kalamassery camp,Chalakkudy camp.

"Youth is the hope of our future, empowering them is our duty!"   On the 27th of July Jcrts wing of JCI Vyttila conducted a seminar at the Skill Academy with the vision of Empowering our Youth. The seminar was taken by our own Chapter President JC Jayanthy Krishnachandran.

1.As part of onathinorumuram pachakkary we distributed vegetable saplings to kudumbasree members of kannadikadu.

2.We conducted an awareness class about "Mazhakkala Rogangal & Precautions" by our own JC Juby.

3.We celebrated Vayana Varam at St.Teresa's Convent Girls Higher Secondary School.

1.As part of KIRAN SAPTAH, we conducted one hour class on skin care, make up and different types of hair style .

2.We distributed vegetable saplings to our members during our family GB and also we celebrated birthdays and wedding anniversary of our members by cutting cake.

3.We conducted a Zumba session for our Jcrts.

4.We conducted a three hour awareness class about "STHREEGENYA ROGANGAL" and BREAST CANCER .The class was taken by Jcrt Dr.Jayasree Goggy,Reader,Padiar Memorial Hospital. The class was attended by more than fifty people. The Chief guest of the function was Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, councillor Cochin corporation.
